Xara Designer Pro

Anyone tried this? Im a lover of Adobe Firworks but as you know they stopped development a couple of years back. So ive tried a few others but they dont cut it for me at all. I still use fireworks but I know its time to move on lol. So im wondering what Xara Designer Pro is like lots say its the closet thing to fireworks.

Please let me know your experinces .

I use Gimp instead of anything else as working on Linux (Ubuntu distribution) and is pretty good graphic program, clean and professional.

 Im playing with ubuntu at the mo learning the ropes i like it to be honest

I would recommend Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. You can make film, animation, gifs and photoshop stuff within it now. Very versatile.

Yes i do have these but i find them a tad bloated at times.
