    Sprite-Based Images.
The sprite for most icons used in a vBulletin Style has been converted to the SVG Image Format and stored as a template in the Style System.
Advantages of SVG Vector Images - They should work equally well at different screen sizes without the need for multiple image files. As a vBulletin Administrator, you can change the colors of the icons to match your Style using Style Variables. Each image has a unique CSS ID to enable customization. Since the SVG image format is XML, you can update them with any compatible SVG Editor.. Better handling of LTR and RTL icons.

    New Templates
The SVG image sprites are stored in new templates. These templates are found within the Sprite Image template group. Additionally, a new CSS template has been added to hold customizations to the Sprite Image. It is called css_icon_sprite.css. It will be blank in newly created styles without a parent.

    New Style Variables
There are a total of 25 new Style Variables added to the system. These control the SVG Colors and are named after the color they represent in the default sprite. You can see these variables in "Icon Colors" variable group. When testing the changes to the colors of your sprite, you can load it by pointing your browser to: yourdomain/vbulletinpath/sprite.php?sprite=sprite_icons_general.svg&styleid=XX XX would be the ID of your style. The style ID can be viewed by hovering over the style name in the Style Manager. It will be shown in the status bar of your browser. Since colors are controlled by CSS, a hard refresh in the browser will be needed to view them.

    Style Sharing for vBulletin Cloud
Styles with changes to the style variables and text-only templates can be imported into Cloud account once they are running vBulletin 5.4.0.

    Style Variable Group Export
When editing style variables, you can export a style variable group as a Style XML file. These can then be merged into other styles by importing the XML file. This functionality was added to allow the sharing of customizations to the SVG colors, buttons, modules, toolbars, etc...

    Tabbed Navigation
The way vBulletin chooses which tab to highlight is based on the URL used by the page. In previous versions, this only handled a few distinct URLs. Previously, tab highlighting didn't work on custom pages or "sub-pages" all the time. There can also be problems if you change the default page of your vBulletin Site.

The system has been updated to handle these issues. Now the system allows you to highlight tabs and their sub-navigation on custom pages. To do this, the URL of your pages should match these formats: /custompage - highlights the tab assigned to this URL. The appropriate sub-navigation will appear as well. /custompage/subpage - looks for a tab assigned to this URL. If one is not found, the system will highlight the tab assigned to the parent "/custompage." If one is found, it will highlight the tab and show the appropriate sub-navigation.

The navigation system will also look for tabs that point to links external to your vBulletin installation. These tabs cannot have visible sub-navigation.

    Google reCAPTCHA
Google has announced that reCAPTCHA version 1 will be shut down on March 31, 2018. We encourage people who are still using it to upgrade to reCAPTCHA version 2 (https://www.google.com/reCAPTCHA/intro/) as soon as possible. reCAPTCHA version 1 will be removed from vBulletin starting in the 5.4.0 release.

    Group Channel Permissions
Most Usergroup Permissions for Group Channels have been removed. These permission fields were in place for special handling and were carried over from vBulletin 4.X. Unfortunately, they allowed inappropriate behavior to be possible. These permissions will be handled by Channel Permissions. This change will provide consistent behavior with all channel types. Please review your Channel Permissions after upgrading your site. You can view Channel Permissions in the AdminCP under Channel Management -> Channel Permissions.

Only two permissions remain under Usergroup -> Usergroup Permissions. These are "Can View Groups" and "Can create new discussions in Groups."

Other Issues Pagination has been fixed in blogs and notifications. The photo tab in Forums and the Profile Media tab should have proper pagination again. An option to turn off Facebook OpenGraph tags has been added to the system. Post Edit History now works on PHP 7+ All resolved issues can be found here (http://tracker.vbulletin.com/secure/...&version=11689)

No, you're not imagining it - we are doing another release, just a day after the release of 2.0.8. XenForo 2.0.9 fixes a flaw that could potentially be exploited to create a cross-site scripting vulnerability. We recommend that all customers running XenForo 2.0 upgrade to 2.0.9 or use the attached patch file as soon as possible. Note that if you are applying the patch rather than doing a full upgrade to 2.0.9, you will need to apply the 2.0.8 patch too. XenForo extends thanks to Thomas Schneider for identifying the issue. The issue is a XSS vulnerability. XSS (Cross Site Scripting) issues allow scripts and malicious HTML to be injected into the page, potentially allowing data theft or unauthenticated access. Applying a Fix: Upgrading
You may upgrade to 2.0.9 to fix this issue. You should upgrade as you would to any other release. Applying a Fix: Patching
Alternatively, this issue can be fixed by applying the patch in the attached file. You should simply overwrite the following file with the version attached to this message: src/XF/Template/Templater.php
The file can be found at the same path within the attachment.

vBulletin 5.4.3 Connect is now available for download by licensed customers.

    User Privacy and Data Compliance

Features have been added to vBulletin Connect to enhance user privacy and data compliance requirements. These features allow customers to comply with various privacy laws in effect around the world such as Europe's GDPR.

New Options Enable Privacy Consent for Guests
This will require all EU users to consent to information tracking to use the site. It will log the time the consent was given and the IP address the consent was obtained from.
Default Value: No Enable Privacy Consent for Registered Users
This will collect consent for EU users when they register or the first time they log in (if they are already registered).
Default Value: No Privacy Statement URL
Enter the URL of your privacy statement, if you have one. Otherwise, leave this setting blank.

If you have Privacy Consent enabled, you must specify a URL here. You may use the existing Privacy Policy Page, enter its URL in this setting, and fill out your actual Privacy Policy in the "privacy_policy_page_text" phrase.
Default Value: privacy (on new installs)

Note: If you change this value, you will also need to update the Navigation Link on the Footer using Site Builder. Enable Automatic Account Deletion
Allow EU users to automatically withdraw consent to collect data and delete their accounts. This will be done via a cron script after a "cool down" interval.
Default Value: No Account Deletion Cooldown
Number of days before privacy consent withdrawal triggers the user removal. After a user withdraws their privacy consent, they have this many days to change their mind before their user data is permanently removed. This value must be greater than zero but can be a decimal. If "Enable Automatic Account Deletion" is disabled, this setting does nothing.
Default Value: 3 Geo IP Provider
The GeoIP provider will determine if a user is from the EU based on their IP address. If you do not select GeoIP provider (or do not provide an application key if it's required) then all users will be treated as EU users. Note: Set this to None to require consent from all users.
Default Value: IPStack GeoIP Service Key
This is the access key for the IP stack GeoIP service. This is required to identify which users are affected by the EU regulations.
Default Value: Empty Guest Privacy Consent Cookie Name
Use this to specify the name of the cookie used by the guest privacy consent banner. Leave this blank to use the default of: COOKIE_PREFIX + "privacy_consent_guest".
    Default Value: Empty

    User Controls

    Withdraw Consent
Users will be able to withdraw their consent by accessing the Privacy Tab on their Settings page. When they withdraw consent, they will be logged out of your site. If you have Automatic User Deletion enabled, they will be deleted after the waiting period specified. If the user wishes to use your site again, then they will have to give consent again to access their account.

    Personal Information Download.
Users will be able to download their personally identifying information from the Privacy tab on the Settings Page. This is downloaded as a CSV format file and is compatible with any spreadsheet. The file only includes personally identifying information and does not include any content they have created on their site.

    Privacy Page

A new default page has been added to the system. By default, this page is called Privacy and is used to display the contents of the privacy_policy_page_text page. You can change the contents of this phrase in the Phrase Manager. To locate it follow these steps: In the AdminCP go to and open Languages & Phrases in the left navigation. Select "Search in Phrases" in the left navigation. Enter "privacy_policy_page_text" into the search field (without the quotes). Select "Phrase Variable Name Only" for the Search In... field on the same page. Press Search. On the next page you should get one result. Click the Edit Button. Put your privacy policy text in the Translation box for your language. You will need to use HTML to format the content of your privacy policy.

Note: If you do not have an existing privacy policy, you can use your favorite search engine to find one that can be customized to fit your needs. Common search terms include "privacy policy template" and "privacy policy generator".

    AdminCP Customization

This functionality has been restored and is available to download customers. To customize the look and feel of the AdminCP, create a copy of the default style directory in /core/cpstyles/ and edit the CSS to fit your needs. Attached below is a custom AdminCP Style made available to test the feature. Simply upload the unzipped directory to /core/cpstyle and then select the style in the Options when logging on to your AdminCP. You can set the style permanently for Admin Users under Usergroups -> Administrator Permissions.

SVG Customization made available to Cloud Customers

When vBulletin Cloud is upgraded, customers will be able to use and edit custom CSS for the SVG Icons in the software. You can do this in Site Builder using the exiting CSS Editor Tool. A new option to select a specific template has been added to allow you to switch between your css_additional.css template and the css_sprite_icons_general.css. Like the css_additional.css template, this template will be empty on a new installation and is provided for the purpose of editing the icons. Your current sprite will be shown underneath the editor so you can see the effects of your changes.

    Content Awaiting Approval

New functionality has been added to show users their content even if it is awaiting moderation. This should reduce confusion when a user creates a topic or post and it doesn't immediately appear. The format of the unmoderated content will be similar to that shown to Administrators and Moderators. Users will not be able to see unmoderated content created by others.

    Template Module

A new module that can be used to pull the contents of templates onto pages. With the Template module, you can pull the content from any template in the current style and display it on a vBulletin page. To see an example of this template in action look at the new Privacy Policy page available in vBulletin 5.4.3. The template is currently used to pull in the privacy_policy_page template and display in on the proper page. However, customers will be able to use it to pull any template, including custom templates and display them on a page. An example would be to use the login form template and display it to guest users as part of your pages.

Note: Custom use of this feature is not currently available to vBulletin Cloud users.

    Other Issues:

    Additional support for PHP 7.2
Resolved several issues where background images were being inherited improperly.
Additional Style Variable and Dark Theme support.
Prevent duplicate pages using the same URL and routing prefix.

A list of all issues can be found here: https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulle...ch/38/search/1

    PHP 5.6.X Deprecation

We will be dropping support for PHP 5.6.X at the end of 2018. This coincides with the end of life status of PHP 5.6.X. We recommend that customers upgrade to PHP 7.1 or higher as soon as possible.

    System Requirements

    Minimum PHP Version: 5.6.30
    Minimum MySQL Version: 5.5.8

Recommended PHP Version: 7.1 or higher
Recommended MySQL Version: 5.7.7 or higher
    Recommended MariaDB Version: 10+

    Current Version Support Schedule

The release of vBulletin 5.4.3 will retire support for the vBulletin 5.3.X series. All customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version. Active Version - 5.4.3 Security Patch - 5.4.2 Security Patch - 5.4.1 No Patch Release - 5.4.0 or earlier.

  • [8wayRun.Com] XenRio (Streams) PRO By Mercedes-Benz

    What is XenRio?
XenRio is a live streaming browser and front-end. It periodically scrapes various APIs in order to keep your users informed of the currently live broadcasts relevant to your community. It allows you to set up various types of restrictions to cater directly to your community.
Features: Periodically scrapes supported platforms for a list of live streams. Embeds live streams directly into your forum to prevent bouncing. Auto updates channel status, categories, thumbnails and viewer counts. Ability to set games/categories into sorted lists of parent categories. Adds a [stream] BBcode so users can embed streams directly in threads and posts.

BBcode can be used as follows: [stream]1[/stream]   Assuming the stream is an approved channel with a channel id of "1", it will embed both the stream AND the chatroom for that stream into a post. [stream=twitch]8wayrun[/stream] This is the secondary embed code which allows users to embed channels which have not been "approved". Using the code above, it will embed the channel "8wayrun" using the embed codes for Twitch.TV. However, there will be no embedded chatroom. Supported Platforms:
    Read this to understand more...
      Live Streams | 8WAYRUN.com
Installation: upload the contents of the attached zip to your XF root install from file on server: "library/EWRrio/addon-EWRrio.xml" set options for the addon in administration control panel set usergroup permissions for various rights enable which services you want to use on the service page set your API keys for services that require it Twitch (use your Client-ID) YouTube (use a server API key) Usage Notes:
You will notice that you can "enable/disable" streaming services. Disabling a service DOES NOT completely disable the service, users will still be able to embed channels from that service, as well as submit channels for that service. The "enable/disable" option simply tells the system whether or not you wish to scrape that specific service. Services that do not have scrape support will never be scraped, even if they are set to enabled.
    Scrape Limitations:
Many of the limitations of this addon are due to the poor/outdated API support from various streaming services. You'll notice that a few of the platforms listed above do not have "scrape support". This is because their public APIs do not have a method to scrape for live streams.   However, channel support was added for these platforms anyways so that users can submit their channels and then those channels and their related chatroom can be embedded on your forum. Unfortunately, without scrape support, channels using those platforms will never appear on the "live streams" list.

In addition to these scrape limitations, there are additional limitations for using the secondary embed codes for Ustream.TV. I have outlined these limitations on this post:

  • XenForo 2.0.10 Released Nulled By Samer

XenForo 2.0.10 is now available for all licensed customers to download. We recommend that all customers running previous versions of XenForo 2.0 upgrade to this release to benefit from increased stability.

In addition, we are now providing admins with a way to view helpful server information at a glance. Look out for the "Server environment report" block on the Admin CP home page:

This will provide at-a-glance information about the environment in which XenForo is running. It will also report to you if your current PHP version is sufficient for running future versions of XenForo.

In addition, the Admin home page will now also display messages if your environment no longer meets the minimum requirements for XenForo. This can happen, for example, if certain extensions are switched off or you have moved to a different server since installing or last upgrading XenForo.

    Download XenForo 2.0.10

Some of the changes in XF 2.0.10 include: Improve compatibility with MySQL 8.0. Update to Froala 2.8.4. Canonicalize the favicon URL. Fix unmatched closing tag in like summary HTML. Ensure stats collection job is run as a non-manual job. When highlighting search terms, ensure that HTML entities are not highlighted. Improve support for passive event listeners in JavaScript. Use aria attributes instead of title attributes in some places to avoid unnecessary browser tooltips. In tag / recipient inputs ensure that the Esc key cancels the current item rather than accepting it. Fix issue which may have seen the RTE being disabled on older Android versions even if a modern Chrome/Firefox version was being used. When renaming a user as you delete it, ensure the correct redirect URL is used. When saving a template without changes ensure the last_edit_date is changed. With invalid class names when creating a class extension, provide more elegant and clearer errors. Handle the warnings link on the member profile differently. If a user who does not have an email in their profile is using the contact form, make the email field required. Prevent a duplicate news feed entry when moving or copying a post to a new thread. When romanizing URLs transilterate remaining dubious characters to standard ASCII characters. Ensure moderator log handlers have their content type passed in. Bailout of HTML widget options verification if no widget key has been set. Reduce number of queries in the "Registered members" list. Make oEmbed media sites more responsive. Pass the correct user upgrade end date when reinstating a previously cancelled/reversed payment. When disabling checkboxes use the disabled property rather than readonly. When exporting a user using the data portability tools, strip multibyte UTF-8 characters out to improve compatibility. Ensure the trophies help page is not shown on the help page list if trophies are disabled. Improve support for Apple Music and Soundcloud BB code media sites. When creating/editing a "Registered feed" display an error if the provided user cannot be found. Use inputmode="number" instead of type="number" on two step verification inputs. Support vendor prefixed add-on IDs in the max_length templater function. When editing the currency format for a language, ensure that {value} is accepted if it appears first in the format string. When filtering active/expired user upgrades by username, ensure the correct error is displayed if the user does not exist. Improvements in memory limit adjustment in the GD image adapter. Add noindex to the "Post new thread" pages. Avoid invisible URLs when the inner text for a URL tag is empty. When sending a moderator action alert when copying or moving a post, include a link to the post rather than the thread. If a guest has selected a specific language, ensure this is persisted through to their user account when they register. Fix invalid HTML in the node list. Allow RTE shortcut key modifiers (Ctrl, Alt, Shift) to be translated. When adjusting an attachment file name, use the utf8_ string functions to avoid potential UTF8 errors. Allow two step verification pages to bypass terms/privacy policy acceptance. Increase time limit of dismissed notice cookies to one month and do not clear them when a user logs out. Prevent auto-linking invalid URLs. Trigger a draft save on preview. Attempt to scroll to the page nav page jump menu on Android so it is not hidden by the keyboard. Ensure fixed notice footer offset is only applied to the page level footer element. Adjust position of the select-to-quote tooltip on Android devices. Avoid template errors if an alert/like item template is missing. Ensure Less templates are more resilient to missing options when rendering CSS. Prevent duplicate actions when handling the multi-quote overlay. Add missing error constant in the oEmbed controller. Appropriately escape HTML used in custom field titles. When converting HTML to BB code ensure that we maintain the original list type. Handle dealing with post reports which may no longer have a valid prefix. Add a htmlspecialchars templater filter. Add a new "findRecentlyActiveValidUsers" method. Allow XF\Http\Upload and XF\Attachment\Manipulator to be extended. Add code events for pre/post add-on actions. When selecting a color from the color picker, ensure a change event is fired in JS. Use a different approach to configuring the RTE when there are no permissions to upload attachments. Use rich user name styling on the "Users logged at IP address" page, mostly for banned styling. When editing a thread title, ensure that spam checks are re-performed. Add a new, optional flood check limit for new threads vs new replies. Improve support for newer TLS versions in emails for PHP versions >= PHP 5.6. Add support in the code editor for phrasing certain UI elements. Update EmojiOne artwork used in smilies to the new version 4.0 artwork. In the spam cleaner only show email addresses to admin users who have the users permission. On session creation, recount the unread alert count if needed. Automatically include the "Admin" relation when setting up the Visitor object. Only attempt to use the random_bytes method when generating a random string if using PHP 7.0 and above. Trim string when processing attributes in the templater to avoid certain empty elements. Prevent a DuplicateKeyException resulting from a race condition in the draft system. Canonicalize various permutations of the xf_user_authentication scheme classes to the current name of those classes. Allow the batch removal of thread prefixes in Batch update threads. Support SET column type in the schema manager. Ensure that guest sessions are not invalidated when their IP addresses change. Coerce route paths to have a trailing slash appended when there is not one, so that slash-less route filters match. Ensure that media embeds are not auto-linked if the media tag is disabled. Provide methods to retrieve the welcome message/mail objects from the Welcome service. Improve the BreadcrumbList schema compatibility. Better support for vendor prefixed add-on IDs in the Import classes. When approving the first post in a thread, actually approve the thread. Add support for a whitelist of routes which are allowed to bypass privacy/terms policy acceptance. Fix potential infinite loop in AbstractNotifier service. The state_change field of a report comment was suppressed when reassigning a report. Handle invalid email headers better when processing bounce emails. Use word-break / break-word when dealing with certain cells in the user change log to avoid content breaking out of the cells. Remove nofollow from some internal links. If using the attachment browser filters, always ensure we redirect when the filters are removed. Prevent errors in case the expected data isn't available when checking user criteria. Workaround an issue in iOS which may present smilies at twice the size when loaded dynamically in certain cases. Add a new 'removeCascadedSave' method to entities. When validating templates, ensure we provide more information in case of a compiler exception. Support touch events in the avatar cropper. Bailout of a connected account request if the connected account provider is no longer active. In some contexts, such as the search forms, only display prefixes if the prefixes are usable in content (forums/resources) that the viewing user can actually view. When migrating the XF1 config, check that the target location is writable. No longer assume that the array/collection key when adding attachments to content is the relevant attachment content ID. Fix an off by one (day) error in the user activity statistics. Increase the size of the numberbox buttons by default. Ensure errors are presented if there are some errors when clicking a XF.QuickEditClick link. Revert some recent changes to how recurring payments are handled in the Stripe payment handler. Hide active/expired user upgrade records where the user upgrade no longer exists. Prevent a redirect loop in some cases when accepting terms/privacy policy when the request originates from those pages. Various template changes with reference to the for_attr templater filter usage. Some attributes required it and didn't have it, others had it and did not need it (it only needs to be used on standard HTML tags, XF tag attributes will be escaped separately). Rollback transactions when logging a fatal error to ensure this always gets logged. Suppress errors caused by template modification application when importing an add-on. This prevents the add-on install/uninstall from getting stuck. Don't swallow errors when taking CLI add-on actions that set is_processing. Ensure the full trace is printed and an entry is logged. Ensure postUninstall is called in CLI uninstalls. Change the logging of CLI exceptions to not try to log the URL, _GET, etc, but instead log the command line. Display in the ACP if an add-on is stuck in the "is_processing" state and give a warning about error suppression and unexpected behavior (and to contact the add-on author for guidance). IPv6 conversion produces an incorrect IP if there are trailing 0000 blocks that are shortened Use transactions in the Thread editor. Make the post editor handle saving the thread editor if they're in use together. Fix Line/comma lists so that they use an integer sub-type instead of decoding as strings when pulling from the source database data. Prevent Firefox from displaying thread previews unexpectedly when using the back button in some scenarios. Improve infinite loop detection in the color picker. Ensure entity caches are wiped appropriately when using setAsSaved to avoid serving outdated values. Add a new debug property in JavaScript to disable AJAX submission. Simply run the following command in the browser console: XF.debug.disableAjaxSubmit = true;. Avoid removing too much padding with mergeNext and noPadding form rows. Workaround WebKit/Blink behaviours with regards to queueing color transitions in some scenarios. In the importer EntityEmulator unicode entities were not decoded in some cases. When importing a user, if a language ID hasn't been set (usually it wouldn't) set it to the defaultLanguageId. When merging tags, display the tag auto complete field for the target tag field. Given a threads/post link, if the post does not exist, redirect to the thread instead. Fix thread redirect keys becoming corrupted with the incorrect thread ID after the redirect has been moved. Do not attempt to delete redirects to a redirect thread when the redirect is soft deleted. Do not create a new redirect if the thread being moved is itself a redirect. Add a new "beforeAttachmentDelete" method to attachment handlers. Fix a few issues with new thread insertion when using quick thread in some cases. Improve memory usage for CLI rebuild commands. Fix "Find all threads by X" searches not using the correct results when re-querying for older results. Remove unnecessary list item closing tag in the tag_search template. As always, new releases of XenForo are free to download for all customers with active licenses, who may now grab the new version from the customer area.

Note: add-ons, customizations and styles made for XenForo 1.x are not compatible with XenForo 2.x. If your site relies upon these for essential functionality, ensure that a XenForo 2 version exists before you start to upgrade. We strongly recommend you make a backup before attempting an upgrade.

    Current Requirements

Please note that XenForo 2.0.x has higher system requirements than XenForo 1.x.

The forthcoming XenForo 2.1.x release will have higher system requirements again (PHP 5.6).

The following are minimum requirements: PHP 5.4 or newer (PHP 7.2 recommended) MySQL 5.5 and newer (Also compatible with MariaDB/Percona etc.) All of the official add-ons require XenForo 2.0. Enhanced Search requires at least Elasticsearch 2.0. Installation and Upgrade Instructions for XenForo 2.0

Full details of how to install and upgrade XenForo can be found in the XenForo 2 Manual.

Note that when upgrading from XenForo 1.x, all add-ons will be disabled and style customizations will not be maintained. New versions of add-ons will need to be installed and customizations will need to be redone. We strongly recommended that you make a backup before attempting an upgrade. Once upgraded, you will not be able to downgrade without restoring from a backup.
